Angela Szeto
Angela has studied yoga for over 15 years. She teaches classical Hatha yoga using vinyasa flow techniques. Her classes provide an ongoing exploration of how the respiratory tract and mind respond in different poses.
Angela loves to share her love of learning and is known for her precise analysis of posture and her enthusiasm for the ways in which yoga can challenge our own expectations of who we are.
Tina Ratsep
Tina has been practicing Yoga for over 20 years and teaching for 15
years.
Her teacher training in the Iyengar tradition has provided her with a
solid understanding of
the mechanics of the body, which enables her to work with, and help
students overcome
limitations due to stiffness, injury or illness.
Tina's professional
training as a Shiatso therapist
and her interest in Eastern philosophy provide her with a unique and
effective approach to
teaching. Her teaching style is precise, energetic, hands on and a
clear reflection of her love
of teaching.
Terrill McGuire
Terrill has been a dancer and practitioner of yoga for many, many years. Fourteen years ago, she was introduced to Ashtanga, which proved to be a valuable complement to dance practices. She studied Ashtanga in northern California before completing her training with Cynthia Funk in Toronto. Terrill has now been teaching yoga for over ten years.
Terrill’s primary passion is helping people discover the immense for capacity for positive change of the body, heart, soul and mind.
Terrill is a practicing dancer, choreographer, and community arts activist. She is a part-time faculty member of the York University Dance Department.
John Veiga
John began his Yogic path in the late 1980s with an interest in eastern philosophies including Zen Buddhism, and Daoism. A decade later, he stumbled into Yoga, and was immediately intrigued. Since then, he has studied extensively with longtime teacher Michael Stone, and more recently with Richard Freeman in Boulder Colorado . John consistently challenges each of his students' potential; emphasizing breath, alignment, and a joyful approach to practice. His classes balance humor with serious inquiry, and solid alignment principles with flowing grace. Students appreciate his eclectic approach that remains grounded in traditional Ashtanga and Hatha practices .
